We’re Engaged By Shana Goodwin

My name is Shana Goodwin. I was born and raised on a farm in Arizona, where I grew up in a big family with two sisters and three brothers. My experiences as part of a large, diverse family helped me understand the differences and frustrations between couples. I grew up to become a mom with three daughters of my own. As a social worker, I deal with many different cases daily. These interactions have sparked my interest in relationship dynamics.

Throughout my dealings with others, I have developed a passion for understanding communication patterns, resolving relationship differences, and understanding e effective communication techniques. I greatly admire my parents’ example of a long and happy marriage and find it essential to teach others the skills to improve and revitalize their relationships.

Just like my friends need support in their daily relationship struggles, I believe there are many other couples out there that need the same. I would like to share the experiences I have gained over the years through working with families of all kinds. Ultimately, my purpose is not only to keep families together but also, to improve their understanding of each other’s roles, behaviors, and reactions.
