Every year Calvin spends time at his family cabin, his favorite place on the planet. But this year, as his life falls apart around him, he goes a month earlier than usual. What begins as hearing strange noises in the familiar forest slowly turns into a siege as he desperately tries to outlast and escape the thing outside in the darkness. As his supplies start to run low and the attacks on his cabin escalate, he realizes he’ll need to leave, but the three-day journey to safety may be impossible with something in the woods stalking him.
