Within its pages, you will venture “off a country road into dense deliverance, away from all things carnal, where mildewed wood chip paths meander through firefly ambiance and unseen moth kisses to a shadow eating burn pit with still moods.” There’s much to embrace here about awesome, average people, places, and the great out-of-doors. At the same time, this work reminds us that there are many challenges to which we can agree to unite, then work together in a common bond towards changing, such as: mental and physical abuse, prejudice, conflict, and mental illness.
