About the Author

Sarah Ward is a mother of three who all experienced time in the NICU before coming home to thrive. She received a B.S. in public health and behavior from the University of Georgia and a degree in dental hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia. She enjoys all things music, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She is thankful for the opportunity to stay at home and enjoy her children while they are young. As an advocate for families of premature birth and early literacy, Sarah hopes to support families on their own NICU journey and encourage reading to children with their Reading Through the NICU program.
