The Tragedy Of Being Here by Naji A.K

In a bold mission to explore the possibility of living on Mars, a nuclear rocket is launched into space, intended to alter the planet’s climate to make it livable in the near future. However, things don’t go as planned, and the rocket inexplicably turns back toward Earth at increasing speed.

As the clock ticks down, the lives of five diverse families from around the globe are spotlighted among billions who become aware of the impending disaster after the news leaks to the public. Each family, rooted in distinct cultures and backgrounds, faces the looming catastrophe with a mix of fear, hope, and desperation.

The pressure of knowing they are trapped on a giant ball with only a few days left creates an unusual atmosphere, oscillating between acceptance and denial. With nothing holding them back anymore, the families push everything to the extreme in the little time they have left.

About the Author

At the age of 26, I felt a deep need to break away from the noise of the city and the demands of everyday life. For a year and a half, I lived in isolation, far from everyone I knew, immersing myself in solitude. During this time, I reflected on every aspect of my life—every joy, every sorrow, every lesson. I watched the world from a distance, searching for meaning and clarity. Out of this intense period of introspection, my first novel was born, a work infused with the wisdom and understanding I gained from that transformative journey.
